Oshkosh North is excited to have the program called Link Crew!  Link Crew is a group that is present at many other high schools across the nation, and the goal of the program is to ease the transition for incoming freshmen students, while also providing a leadership opportunity for upperclassmen.  Although the school year will look a little different this year, our leaders are up for the challenge.  They will be assigned a small group of freshmen in which they will be checking in with them digitally throughout the semester.  These upperclassmen are peer contacts for freshmen students to help answer questions that 9th graders may have as they transition to a new building and routine.  Oshkosh North is an amazing school, and our Link Crew leaders want to get the 9th grade class off to a great start! 

Mr. Tyler Umentum will begin the 2020-21 school year as our new Assistant Principal at Oshkosh North! He previously was a Health/PE teacher and coach at North.  He will be assistant principal for grades 10 & 12 this year. We are excited to have him serve our North community in this new position and look forward to a great year together!

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CALLS REGARDING ATTENDANCE SHOULD BE MADE DIRECTLY TO THE ATTENDANCE OFFICE AT 424-0288.  PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE MAIN OFFICE NUMBER WITH YOUR ATTENDANCE CALLS. The Attendance office receives a high volume of calls particularly in the morning. If your call is not answered please leave a message. For ATTENDANCE messages after 3:30PM, dial 424-0288 and leave a voicemail message. Students who anticipate an upcoming absence from school should also contact the Attendance Office.

In an effort to improve safety and overall efficiency of traffic flow during before school and after school we ask that parents/guardians pick up their student in either the East or West parking lots. Please do not use the circle drive on Smith Ave as Kobussen school buses use this area to pick up and drop off students. We thank you for your understanding as we continue to work to ensure student safety during the before school and after school pick up times. 

2020-2021 AP Students and Parents/Guardians:
AP test fees are due by September 30, 2020 for the May 2021 AP exams. The College Board made some significant changes for Advanced Placement courses and testing starting with the 2019-2020 school year. One important change that started last year was that students now register and pay for their AP tests in the beginning of the school year instead of mid-year. The cost for each AP test is $95, with the test fee waived for students who qualify for free/reduced meals. The deadline for test registration and payment is September 30, 2020. Students will complete an online registration process in their AP classes. You will be able to make test fee payments through Infinite Campus, just as you can for other school fees. The AP test fee can be added to your cart by going to fees/my account/optional payments. Most tests are listed separately; if the test is not listed, select other AP exam. The other payment option is to bring cash or a check made out to Oshkosh North to the school bank. If your student qualifies for free/reduced lunch, your student will still need to go to the school bank to confirm his/her intention to take the exam and to be added to the test roster. Yearbook/School Picture Information for 2020-2021

If you are interested in purchasing a yearbook for your North student, now is the perfect opportunity! For a short time, we are offering an early bird discount. Until September 30, you can buy a yearbook for $55 from your IC parent portal (it's under optional payments, which is under your account tab). After that, the price is raised to $65 until the end of the semester. Please consider buying it to save yourself some money. This year will be one for the record books!

      You may use this link to order your student's pictures and pre-pay online for them.  This option is the best as it alleviates having more physical contact and lets you order directly from your home.

Attached is the pdf form for you to be able to print a physical copy of the order form and send it with payment when your student has their picture taken.  Copies of the order form will be available with the photographers also.
If your son or daughter misses school on September 1st or 2nd or isn't pleased with his/her picture, picture retakes will be on Thursday, October 15. If you have additional questions about picture day, you can contact Network Photography at 262-677-8662.

As we kick off the 2020-21 school year we want to warmly welcome parents and students to revisit the many ways the counseling staff at North can be of assistance. 

In addition, we would also like to remind families which grade level each counselor is assigned. Please see the list of counselors by grade group below. How does this change each year? Each year, the counselor will loop with her class up to the next level, while the senior counselor will move to the freshman grade level.

The Oshkosh Area School District’s Annual Student Update (Enrollment) - for Returning Students and for New 4K Students is now open! Please click on this link for more information.

STUDENTS - Free and reduced price meal applications are available in the school office and the kitchen.

Students wishing to access their student food service account to purchase a Combo breakfast or lunch will be required to use their pin number.  Staff will be available to give you this number if you do not know it. You must have money in the account to use the account.  You may purchase a la carte items on your student food service account.  

PAYMENTS will be accepted at the school bank ONLY.  Payments will not be accepted at the POS terminals at this time.  Deposit forms are available.  Checks should be made out to the school.  ONLY one check will be necessary for all students in the household.  Please allow 24 hours after the payment has been received to be credited to the family’s account.

In The Food Court, menu items are individually priced.  The best value, however, is to purchase a Combo Breakfast or Lunch.  Several Combos are available daily.

In our continual effort ot increase safety and security at our schols, the Oshkosh Area School District has expanded its safety protocols through the use of the Raptor Visitor Management System. The new visitor management system will be implemented on March 16, 2020, at all OASD schools.

Upon entering a school building, visitors will be asked to present a valid state-issued ID or simply provide their name and date of birth, which will be checked against a national sex offender database to ensure that registered sexual offenders are not entering our buildings. The system will also create a badge for visitors to wear while visiting a school. All visitors that wish to enter student areas of a school OR pick-up a student during school hours will be required to sign-in using the Raptor system. Visitors that are simply dropping something off at the office or meeting with office staff will not need to use the system. 

If a parent/guardian or visitor does not have a US government-issued ID, the school staff member can use any form of identification and manually enter the person’s name and date of birth into the Raptor system. The only data collected is the individual’s name, date of birth, and picture. No other pieces of information are collected nor is any of this information shared with any outside agency. 

The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority and the District has been proactive in implementing a layered approach to school safety. The Raptor Visitor Management System will allow us to quickly identify those that should not have access to our schools, and ensure that we continue to provide a safe and welcoming school environment.
