SCHOOL PICTURE INFORMATION
All students will receive a web password to access their own online gallery to order their school pictures online. If you have any further questions Network Photography would be happy to answer them for you, their phone number is: 262.677.8662.

PURCHASE A YEARBOOK - UPDATED INFORMATION (11/22/19)
Due to having extra yearbooks that were unsold at the end of last year, we are doing something different this year regarding yearbook sales. Instead of ordering a number of extra yearbooks, we are only ordering the number of yearbooks which are ordered (plus the extras we use for the libraries, guidance office, etc). What this means for you is if your child is waiting to purchase a yearbook at the end of the year, he/she may not have one to purchase. Sometimes there are overruns that the yearbook printing company gives us to sell, but those are not guaranteed. Please make sure you order your child's yearbook before the deadline, which is January 17 (the last day of the semester). If you don't, he or she will probably not be able to purchase a yearbook.

There are 3 easy ways to pay. 
1. Bring $65 cash to the school bank.
2. Bring a check for $65 to the school bank, written out to Oshkosh North.
3. Purchase online through Infinite Campus. You will go under Fees---Account---Optional Payments. There is a choice to select the purchase of a yearbook under this menu.

Also, if there happen to be extra yearbooks at the end of the year, the price is raised to $70, so buying one now guarantees you a book and saves you money.

We will be having our Second Annual Herd Game on January 22nd.  Students, basketball players, and the dance team will be featured during January 22nd’s game. They will be performing during the Prime TIme before the game, co-captains of the game, as well as half time performance. Please come out to support North High School.  Tickets will be sold for $10 at North’s school bank starting on Monday, December 9th.  

All proceeds will be directly back to students of Oshkosh North. 

YOU’RE INVITED! Test your knowledge and help raise money for the Oshkosh Area School District (OASD) Education Foundation. The OASD Education Foundation is hosting its seventh annual Trivia Night Fundraiser on January 24, 2020. This event is open to the public, pre-registration preferred. 

7th Annual OASD Education Foundation Trivia Night 

Friday, January 24, 2020 at 7 p.m.

Oshkosh Convention Center (2 North Main Street, Oshkosh, WI

The evening will feature team trivia at 7 p.m., 50/50 and gift basket raffles, and other prizes, with the doors opening at 6:15 p.m. All are welcome to participate, cost of trivia is $100 per team with an 8-person maximum. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Pre-registration is preferred by January 17, 2020.

All proceeds will be used to enhance the educational experience for students and staff in the OASD. The OASD Education Foundation is committed to providing resources for innovation, fine arts, athletics, scholarships, and other resources to enhance students' lives. If you are looking to dine out and support the ONHS Booster Club please stop in at Red Robin in Oshkosh on Monday, January 27th! Stop in from 4:00-8:00PM and 20% of all sales raised will be donated back to Oshkosh North. Thank you for your support!

 

Beginning Friday, December 13, tickets will go on sale for the North musical “Les Miserables”. Performances will be Feb. 13-15 at 7:00PM and Feb. 16 at 2:00PM at the Grand Opera House in Oshkosh. Spartan Families,

We are so excited to be starting our 3rd year as a partner with Battle on Bago by selling their raffle tickets. For us, this fundraiser supports our student athletes with many of the needs ONHS Spartan teams need every year. In our 1st two years, we have raised over $12,000, and are hoping for our best year yet! ** Reminder: 100% of everything the ONHS Booster Club raises goes directly back to our student athletes!

Quandt Plumbing has also stepped up to again sponsor great prizes for our athletes to win. We are adding more prizes (Not just the $300 VISA gift card for highest ticket sales… but $100 for 2nd & $50 for 3rd place in ticket sales) There will also be 2 large prizes to be named later this month (last years were Apple Watch & Apple AirPods) Plus 2 gift card tree’s with donations from numerous companies that time after time support our athletes!

Battle on Bago raffle ticket sales are picking up, but we have a long way to go in this last month. Through Jan. 3rd we have 43 athletes who have sold a total of 643 tickets!!

• One Entry for every 10 tickets sold on weekly drawings

SENIOR ADS
Do you have a senior? This is a GREAT way to honor him or her, by taking out an ad in the Yearbook. Seniors love this, and it's a lot of fun. I have staff who are trained in designing these ads, so if you don't want to create your own (most parents don't), you can send us the pictures and what you'd like it to say, and we'll create it for you! Ads are due in mid-February, but we'll accept them as early as now. If you are interested, let me know and I'll send you a contract with more information. Prices are $200 for a full page ad, $120 for a half page ad, and our most popular, which is $75 for a quarter page ad. 

BABY PICTURES FOR SENIOR SLIDESHOW
North is unique in that we have a senior slideshow shown at graduation each year, to be included in the slideshow we will need the following from you:

1. Baby Picture (either email it to Ms. Sara Klein digitally or bring in a hard copy to Room 235 to scan)
2. Five or so friends pictures throughout the years. Try to only have seniors in the pictures if possible (but the pictures can be from when you were in elementary school or whatever)

I need at a minimum your baby picture, but if you'd like to also include friend pictures, those will be accepted as well. Thank you!

HOW TO SEND OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS
Please remember that EACH college you apply to will require an official high school transcript be sent after you apply AND in June after graduation. 

To refresh your memory from the senior meeting, please visit the Oshkosh North Counseling Department website (https://oshkosh-north-high.oshkosh.k12.wi.us/counseling/college-career-development) to review the TWO ways to send your transcripts. 

Please note- it is your responsibility to get transcripts sent to the colleges in which you apply. The only exception to this is IF you apply to colleges via the Common Application. When you utilize the Common Application, transcripts are uploaded to your application by School Counselors. If you have any questions, please feel free to stop down or email Senior Counselor, Mrs. Erickson.
